A micro-needling treatment stimulates the healthy collagen and elastin levels of your youth to rejuvenate ageing skin and replace skin cells that have been damaged by scarring, acne, breakouts, wrinkles, wounds, and stretch marks.

This treatment not only combats ageing skin, but also replaces blemishes and skin anomalies, with even.

Micro-needling is a great treatment for you if you have darker skin because it doesn’t involve peels or lasers, which can cause pigmentation issues.

Treatments can be performed on the body as well as the face (although body treatment will incur an additional fee).

We use a Micro-needling Pen for face treatments: This is a unique electronic mechanism which allows your practitioner to control treatment intensity to best suit your needs. whereas for the body we tend to use a dermaroller.

This is a titanium device that is rolled over the skin to create thousands of tiny contact points. This causes the body to create a wound-healing process for rejuvenated, smoother and younger-looking skin. A dermaroller is good for clients who need a large area treated such as stretch marks on the stomach.

Micro-needling is most commonly used to treat the following skin conditions:

Reduce fine lines & wrinkles

Reduce stretch marks
Wrinkles: Fine lines and wrinkles on the face can be visibly reduced, as micro-needling triggers collagen production.
Scarring: Scars from acne and Chicken Pox can be improved and an uneven texture can be smoothed out with micro-needling.
Pigmentation: Can help to fade dark patches such as pigmentation due to sun damage or ageing.

Use the gentle cleanser provided In your post-treatment kit then move to a gentle cleanse and moisturiser post-treatment for 5-7 days - this must contain no acids such as salicylic/glycolic/Latic acids.

Avoid sun exposure as much as possible post-treatment for a minimum of 3 days.
Wear SPF50 daily for a minimum of 7 days and re apply often.
Avoid excessive heat for 7 days post-treatment ie saunas steam rooms.
Do not go swimming for 7 days after your treatment as chlorine can be an irritant.
Avoid Facial waxing for 7 days post-treatment.
Do no pick, scratch or excessively rub the treated area.
Do not use any scrubs, face polishes or exfoliators for 7 days post-treatment.
Avoid any AHA/BHA chemical exfoliators for 7 days post-treatment.
Avoid active ingredients such as vitamin c for 5 days minimum.
You may experience slight redness post-treatment which should subside within 24 hours.
For best results you can have a micro-needling treatment every 4-6 weeks.
